Yes, I have been a little M.I.A from blogging but I have a great excuse for it! As some of you know, I have moved to Austin Texas... Why you may ask? For a boy, why else? Seemed like the totally logical thing to do at the time since I fall in love every 5 seconds :). So I packed up my room in my cozy beach front apartment, said goodbye to my amazing roommate slash best snuggler slash my life mentor, and drove to the "Music capital of the world". Obviously, moving in with a boy after only knowing him for about 3 months a head of time didn't really work out the way I imagined it in my love infested mind. The relationship lasted for a measly 4 months and let me just give a little advice to you: DON'T MOVE IN WITH YOUR PARTNER TILL YOU'RE PLANNING ON GETTING MARRIED! It definitely ruined that honeymoon stage of the relationship and all went to shit! What did come out of this wonderful relationship was Austin. I have found my niche. I have never met people in my life that will go so far out of their way to help you in ways I couldn't begin to explain. No one is judging. Live music every week non-stop! Intense night life where every Saturday they close down 6th street and the bar hopping begins! Such an active city where there is a lake to kayak, jog or bike around, and go wakeboarding. Then, the most important of them all: HOME OF WHOLE FOODS. Yes, whole foods was originated here... all the more reason to move here right? ; )
I work between two salons, one is a salon and boutique which is perfect since fashion is my calling, yet I get to be around girls that LOVE making you pretty. I have made the best friends I could ask for. They've basically become family. Yes, in 4 months I have made my own little family here. Don't get me wrong, I miss California and my friends and family there with all of my heart! I just didn't fit. So, there you have it. What the hell I have been doing for 4 months. I would have a lot more pictures but unfortunately I misplaced my amazing G11 on New Years, but when I get some I will post them A.S.A.P.
