It was my first road trip longer than 8 hours by myself... hauling a trailer... Not going to lie, I was a little scared haha. I left around 3am and made my first stop to rest in Stockdale, Tx. Played with hiccup for an hour or so, then slept for 45 min.
2 extra strength 5 hour energy's and massive amounts of coffee later, I was up for the next 16 hours. I stopped and slept for 3 hours and got back on the road. I made it to Huntington Beach by 8:30am! Not bad for hauling a trailer and letting my dog out constantly!
I immediately started unloading my trailer and unpacking my room. By 6pm I had it returned back to Uhaul. Since all the caffeine was still in my system I only slept for about 5 hours. I was up and went to breakfast with my friend. Later that day, I discovered I was going to drive 9hrs north to Chico, CA for Easter weekend... More driving, SWEET!!! But totally worth it.
When I got to Chico I was so relieved to finally be somewhere comfortable, with my family.
All in All, over a span of 3 days I drove 2,054 miles.
